About this blog

This blog aims to support students in their undergraduate (BSc/Bachelor), graduate (MSc/Master), or postgraduate (PhD) studies. The focus is on students that are writing their thesis or dissertation, but subjects are not limited to writing alone. Blog posts may be related to research communication, statistics, productivity tips, and other topics that I think are relevant. Occasionally, I will blog about things that I simply find interesting. Although the information on this website was gathered with the utmost care, I cannot guarantee that everything is correct.

Who am I?

My name is Pascal Duenk, and I am Assistant Professor of Animal Breeding and Genomics at Wageningen University and Research (WUR). In that role, I supervise and teach undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students. All blog posts are written by me, and may therefore be biased towards my personal experiences and preferences. The opinions expressed on this website are not necessarily those of WUR. I hope that the information on this website will support students in the process and communication of their thesis projects.
